520 _aThis report builds on the work of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lighthouse Programme, an annual effort to surface, highlight and scale impactful corporate initiatives. It is organized by the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the New Economy and Society. The Lighthouse Programme is designed to pragmatically identify proven, effective initiatives which advance diversity, equity and inclusion across industries and geographies and to share key lessons learned with business and public sector leaders around the world. The aim is to equip leaders with best practices to help focus efforts on what works best, and ultimately contribute to stronger business performance and competitiveness. This report provides a snapshot of the current frontier and recent developments in the space, followed by detailed case studies of the 2025 cohort of Lighthouse initiatives selected by an expert panel on the basis of having achieved significant, quantifiable, sustained and scalable impact for one or multiple underrepresented groups. In addition, the report presents a set of “highlighted” initiatives, which contain promising or innovative design principles.
